A solo spot bidding farewell to the Boathouse, which has played host to so many acoustic acts over the past few years, from both Cambridge and beyond.
Amidst the mayhem of the Edinburgh Festival we can now confirm a Karmadillo appearance at Edinburghs first steampunk night. The appearance will be especially themed to fit in with the night.
Rishi will be appearing from the airship landing at the Dreams of Steam Happening on Friday 21st August and opening entertainment for the night in which his armadillo – hopefully not be too traumatised from its trans-atlantic crossing in the Zeppelin – will tap-dance and perform lewd gestures in a style design to arouse the anger of the more discerning Victorian gentlemen.
For more information turn your trusty volume of musicians of the future to this page here. Also featuring a personal hero, Mr Thomas Truax. £10 entry.
DUE TO SORE THROAT NO KARMADILLO HERE. GO AND SEE THE EXCELLENT INVOCAL ANYWAY!!!
Invocal are a leftfield, oestrogen laden acoustic quartet from Northampton. Karmadillo are a facist, testosterone filled Jeremy Clarkson loving duo from Cambridge. What will happen when these two meet?
Seriously Invocal are a great band, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Four bands what play guitars and stuff, kind of like a bit indie, except for Karmadillo, they use a little stringed instrument made out a dead animal and sing folky kind of comedy stuff.
